Opioid Awareness
The Opioid Awareness program is designed to reach AAPI community members with culturally tailored information and support to help reduce substance and opioid use. The program is funded by Minnesota Department of Human Services. The program leverages community partnerships, community leaders, and community health liaisons to build capacity and increase reach to AAPI community members.

Our program goals are to:
Increase knowledge and awareness of substance use prevention strategies and harm reduction strategies.
Build capacity within the AAPI and Lao community to address substance use and support folks who are struggling.
Implementing in-culture and in-language awareness campaigns by conducting outreach and education in community specific spaces and places.

Host Small Group Education Sessions
Support Free Distribution of Narcan Kits.
Conduct Community Outreach and Education
Create In-Language Educational Materials
Support Direct Services and System Navigation for Community
