Minnesota Paid Leave
Minnesota Paid Leave is a new statewide program that will allow workers to take paid time off for important life events such as caring for a new child, recovering from a serious health condition, supporting a family member who is ill, or addressing certain family and safety needs. Many community members, small businesses, and self-employed workers are still learning what the program means and how it will work. The Lao Assistance Center of Minnesota (LACM) is partnering with community leaders, employers, and workers to provide culturally relevant education, resources, and one-on-one guidance so people understand their rights and responsibilities under the program.
-
LACM hosts information sessions, shares multilingual materials, and works through trusted Community Connectors to ensure accurate information reaches the community.
-
To connect with LACM for information, training, or partnership opportunities, community members and employers can contact our team or follow our outreach events and resources through LACM’s website and social media channels.
