Gambling Awareness

This program is designed to reach AAPI community members with culturally tailored information and support to help them prevent problem gambling behaviors. The program is funded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. The program leverages community partnerships and community leaders to build capacity and increase reach to AAPI communities.  

  • Our programs goals are to:

    • Increase community support and understanding of problem gambling behaviors.  

    • Build capacity within the AAPI and Lao community to address problem gambling and support folks who are struggling.  

    • Implementing in-culture and in-language awareness campaigns by conducting outreach and education in community specific spaces and places.  

    • Host Small Group Education Sessions 

    • Conduct Community Outreach and Education 

    • Create In-Language Educational Materials
