Brianna raddatz
Brianna Raddatz is a dedicated public health professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she graduated with University Honors and Magna Cum Laude distinction in May 2024. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), holding her certification until April 2029, and is recognized for her expertise in various competency areas including needs assessment, program planning and evaluation, research, and advocacy.
Brianna has gained valuable experience through her role as a Research and Planning Intern at the Duluth Center for Women and Children, where she led a grant-funded program to promote healthy food consumption among low-income children. Her work involved community-based participatory research and effective communication with stakeholders, showcasing her ability to foster collaboration and drive positive outcomes.
As a Senior Executive Board Member of Advocates for Reproductive Freedom, Brianna coordinated advocacy efforts and delivered educational presentations to enhance awareness among her peers. Her internship with Inclusa allowed her to develop targeted health education materials for a grassroots coalition across seven Wisconsin counties, further demonstrating her commitment to community health.
As a member of Pro-Choice Minnesota’s Board of Directors, Brianna works to coordinate advocacy efforts aimed at expanding access to reproductive healthcare for Minnesotans.
Brianna's research experience includes conducting primary research during a study abroad program in Morocco, where she honed her data management and analysis skills in a cross-cultural context. Her academic achievements have been recognized through multiple awards, including UMD’s Zenith Award and the Public Health Major of the Year. Brianna has also co-authored three peer-reviewed publications focused on advancing food security for families in Duluth, MN.
With a passion for health education and community engagement, Brianna is poised to make a significant impact in the field of public health.
