Youth Leadership Team: The Lao Assistance Center regularly convenes Lao American youth to discuss and train in key lifeskills that provide them flexibility and versatility to pursue academic, professional and community-oriented goals. 

Youth Health: Youth health is essential to ensure successful performance in school and extracurricular activities. The Lao Assistance Center offers support to families with uninsured children through the SEACHIP program and also youth tobacco prevention education that creates a network of peer support to resist tobacco marketing.

Youth Academics: Academic achievement is essential to long-term community success and Lao Assistance Center work with youth to ensure good grades and comprehension of the subject matter with a focus on college-prep skills that ensure a greater percentage of Lao youth can attend college. They also help youth identify and apply for college scholarships and financial aid. 

Youth Expression: Lao Assistance Center is committed to assisting Lao youth with opportunities to interact and express themselves through the arts, including dance, literature, visual art, theater and multimedia and multidisciplinary genres. Our award-winning staff work with youth to understand the potential of their voices and to develop skills that serve them professionally, academically, artistically and in the community.
