Lao Assistance Center of Minnesota is once again launching their employment services with the help of our Employment Counselor, Det Sorthepharack.

In the next few months, with the help of PPL and AmeriCorp, Det will be working with Lao Assistance Center clients to build their resume, job search using the internet and other resources and prepare themselves for various jobs. He will also be hosting job prep trainings (such as how to make yourself the best candidate possible), interview preparation trainings and educational trainings to help Lao clients be more self-sufficient in their job search.

LACM also provides services for those who have recently been laid off by employers to apply for unemployment insurance. If you or a family member needs assistance applying for unemployment, please contact LACM.
